: President Buhari Urges Lawyers to Uphold Integrity of the Judiciary

President Buhari urged the legal practitioners to ensure they work for the peaceful coexistence of the citizens.

President Muhammadu Buhari has called on Lawyers across the country to sustain the countrys integrity of Nigerias judicial system. The President made the call recently while declaring open the 58th annual general conference of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) in Abuja the Nations capital. President Buhari urged the legal practitioners to ensure they work for the peaceful coexistence of the citizens especially as the Nation heads for the 2019 general elections, he also asked them to join forces with the government to tackle the security challenges facing the Nation stressing that for those practicing the law can only do so when the Nation is at peace. President Buhari disclosed that the first challenge of his administration was to transform Nigeria speedily into society where impunity and management of human resources with the culture of transparency and accountability.
