NHRC to Partner with CODE to Sensitize Nigerians Ahead of Future Elections

Nigerians to receive sensitization on vote buying and holding elected officers accountable ahead of future elections

In preparation for better future elections in Nigeria, the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has said it will partner with Connected Development (CODE); a transparency organization to sensitize Nigerians to shun vote buying and hold elected leaders accountable. This was disclosed by the Executive Secretary, NHRC, Anthony Ojukwu when the Chief Executive Officer, CODE, Hamzat Lawal visited the commission in Abuja. Ojukwu said was necessary in order to better prepare the citizenry ahead next general elections in the country.
