South Africa: Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) Vow to Remove the DA from Power in the Forthcoming Elections

The red Berets expresses disappointment in the DA rule

The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) deputy president Floyd Shivambu has shown confidence that the freedom fighters will remove the DA from power in Tshwane after the national elections. Mr. Shivambu made the statement while addressing residents of Atteridgeville at Makhaza sports ground where he told hundreds of community members that the DA has not provided leadership for the capital. Instead of providing the leadership with the opportunity they gave to the DA, he said they were rather using the opportunity to place only white people in senior positions, something the red berets have never been in support of. Some residents of the townships have expressed their disappointment with the DA rule in the City of Tshwane, claiming it has neglected their areas since taking power from the ANC in 2016.
