“I would rather be dead in a ditch than ask for further delay” - Boris Johnson
The speaker of the House of Commons, John Bercow, has signaled warnings to the Prime Minister Boris Johnson on his plans to ignore laws designed to stop a No-Deal Brexit. The speaker explained that Brexit can only be possible when backed by the members of parliament.
It would be recalled that a new law was passed before the suspension of Parliament which forces the Prime Minister to seek a delay until 31 January 2020 unless a Deal or No-Deal exit is approved by members of parliament by October 19th. In his response, the Prime Minster said, he would rather die in a ditch than ask for a further delay.
