Brexit: Political Leaders See Deal as Essentially Impossible

Cabinet meets as EU Sees uncertainty in Brexit deal

The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson has met with some European leaders after the proposal he put forward before the European Union. According to reports, the Prime Minister and the German Chancellor, Mrs. Merkel Angela had met earlier and spoke on the proposal presented by the UK government to the EU.

The reports has it that, Mrs. Merkel made clear a deal based on the content presented therein was overwhelmingly unlikely. Whilst negotiations are still ongoing, many diplomats have said the chances of a swift deal before October 31st are still uncertain.
