Hoodlums Invade INEC Training Center; Cart Away Election Training Materials

INEC adhoc training center in Imo State attacked by hoodlums carting away election training materials

It has been reported that Technical College, in Ideato North Local Government Council of Imo State, south-east, Nigeria which is one of the centers for the training of INEC adhoc staff was invaded by hoodlums during the weekend, injuring adhoc trainees and INEC officials. They also carted away training materials. One of the trainees said he was short of words to describe the ugly experience and with a pre-election violence act like this; more should be done by security agencies to beef up security before, during, and after the elections.
