The ANC Urged To Pay Back The VBS Money In 7 Days

"ANC members implicated in the VBS mutual bank saga, to step aside from all Leadership positions and activities of the ANC"

The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the African National Congress (ANC) has received a recommendation from the National Integrity Commission (NIC) of the party, to direct those members of the party implicated in the R2 million VBS mutual bank saga, to step down from all leadership positions and withdraw their involvement in all activities of the party.

ANC's spokesperson Pule Mabe acknowledged that the National Executive Council has seen and received the recommendation of the National Integrity Commission. In view of that, the National Working Committee as well as the National Executive Committee will seat this week to address the issue and then communicate the stand of the NEC at the end of deliberations.
