Mediators reached agreement in talks with military.
Mediators from the West African region have met with both warring sides of the Malian government in the bid to proffer lasting solution to the crisis in the nation. The delegation led by the former President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan, met with the leaders of the military behind closed doors to discuss on the possible actualization of peace between the both parties.
The reports say that both parties have come to a consensus agreement in certain points while, others are still pending as the talks are scheduled further. It would be recalled that the Malian military is hasting for a military led transitional body to rule for at least three years, which has led to threat to oust the incumbent President of the nation.
