Results of the polls were never transmitted or collated electronically says INEC spokes person
The electoral umpire in Nigeria, INEC has refuted claims by main opposition party; the PDP, to have derived the actual results of the February presidential election in Nigeria from INEC's server. The claims by the presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar and his party to have won the election based on results derived from INEC'S server has been discarded by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). INEC stated this in it's reply to the petition filed before the presidential election tribunal by Atiku Abubakar and the PDP challenging the outcome of the February 23 presidential election in Nigeria. INEC's lead council, Eunice Usman, said the results of the polls were never transmitted or collated electronically maintaining that the commission kept no server where such results could have been derived.
