The current relationship with Saudi Arabia is not working for America says Senator Lindsey Graham
The upper legislative house in the United States, the Senate, is debating resolution calling on the United States to withdraw its assistance from the Saudi led war in Yemen. A group of U.S senators are pushing tough legislation that will halt the sales of arms and impose sanctions on Saudi Arabia in concurrence with senator Lindsey's assertion that the U.S current relationship with Saudi Arabia is not working for America. According to senator Lindsey, Saudi Arabia had been strategic U.S ally in the past and could be in the future but currently, Saudi is more of a burden than an asset to the U.S. The senator points to the mysterious disappearance of Saudi journalist, Jamal khashoggi at the Saudi consulate in instabul, as one of the reasons for his assertions.
