COVID-19: Families of Deceased Health and Care Workers in UK to Receive Compensation

Families to be paid 60,000 pounds as compensation.

The British Minister of Health, Matt Hancock, has on behalf of the government of the United Kingdom announced that the families of front line health care workers who died from the novel coronavirus will be paid 60,000 pounds as insurance. According to the minister, though nothing replaces the life of a lost loved one but the government is poised do everything possible to support the families who lost loved ones who committed their lives to public service even in the face of death.
