UN Food Report: North Korea Badly Affected with Food Crisis

More Than 10 Million People Affected with Food Shortages in DPR Korea

The Food Security Assessment of the United Nations has filed its findings on food shortage in Democratic Republic of Korea, the report said that more than 10 million people currently suffer food shortages in the country. This is as a result of the bad and the worst harvest in 10 years due to dry spells, heatwaves and flooding. Meanwhile the World Food Program has rendered its support to victims of the food shortage in most rural communities, especially the vulnerable women and children.
