Prime Minister Boris Johnson insist UK leaves the EU, Deal or No Deal
The head of the European parliament has ruled out any Brexit deal that does not have an Irish backstop. According to the Parliament chief, the EU was willing to revive a proposal that would keep Northern Ireland in the bloc’s orbit so as to maintain a seamless border on the island of Ireland.
The Prime Minister, Boris Johnson however, has opposed the backstop explaining that he feared it will trap Britain in a parliament customs union with the EU. Mr. Johnson, further stated that his country will leave the EU on the appointed date Oct. 31, deal or no deal.
