AU and EU React Differently to DRC Election Outcome

The African Union (AU), calls for calm in DRC while the European Union (EU) says it has taken note of the election results

Following the declaration of Felix Theshikedi as the provisional winner of the DRC presidential elections, the African Union has sent a congratulatory message to DRC and then called on all stakeholders to maintain the peace and work towards achieving an orderly and successful transition. On the other hand, the European Union says it has taken note of the result and was waiting to pursue reports from different observer missions.
