Pastor Chris Declares August to be the Month of Conscious Truth at Global Service

The global audience revelled in palpable joy as the man of God, Reverend Chris Oyakhilome DSc., DSc., DD, declared August to be “the Month of Conscious Truth” at the just concluded August Global Communion Service held on Sunday, August 3rd. “This month, what God wants for you is a consciousness of truth. It’s not enough to know the truth in a generic sense; you need a consciousness of truth,” the man of God posited as he ministered at the global service.

Expounding further, Pastor Chris recounted the 10 different times Apostle John rehashed ‘truth’ in his first epistle; an exercise with which the man of God emphasized the importance of truth. With these references, the Loveworld President taught that Jesus is himself truth as is the Holy Ghost, who is the Spirit of truth. Reading John 17:17, he delved deeper, explaining that God’s word is truth; thus, to walk in the truth is to walk in the word.

“Truth is reality, not fact,” Pastor Chris sharply differentiated the two, admonishing the saints to continuously meditate on the Word of God to have the consciousness of truth. In a solemn counsel, Pastor Chris charged the saints to manifest truth this month by living the Word. “Study the Word and be open to the ministry of the Holy Spirit because He is the Spirit of truth sent to guide you,” he remarked, urging the global audience to walk in the glory of God, live His truth and manifest His righteousness throughout this month and beyond.
