Pastor Chris Declares November as ‘The Month of Ingathering’

First, there’s an in-house gathering, and then we gather in our labours (souls won) — Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, DSc., DSc., DD.

Glorious shouts of rejoicing reverberated across the globe as the man of God, Reverend Chris Oyakhilome DSc., DSc., DD declared November to be the Month of Ingathering at the during the November Global Communion Service that was held on Sunday, November 2nd.

Reading from Exodus 23:16 and Exodus 34:22–24, Pastor Chris explained that “first, there’s an in-house gathering, and then we gather in our labours — bringing in the precious harvest of souls.” He emphasized that this season marks a time for the saints to take account, review their work in soul-winning, and celebrate the victories of the Spirit throughout the year.

“This is the time to gather the fruits of our labour — both in our lives and in the lives of those we’ve reached with the Gospel,” the man of God noted, urging God’s people to be spiritually alert and intentional in bringing in the harvest.

Across the world, the declaration has stirred renewed zeal among God's saints to consolidate the impact of their outreach efforts and ensure that many more are ushered into the Kingdom before the year’s end as we focus on completing the full preaching of the Gospel this year.
