Nelson Mandela Foundation honors teen girl for her work on girl child education in Africa
A Nigerian-American teen activist, Zuriel has been honored by the Nelson Mandela Foundation in recognition of her efforts in promoting girl child education in Africa. Zuriel has been in the fore front of the campaign against early child marriage and helping girls in Africa to stay in school. Zuriel Oduwole was listed by Forbes Magazine as one of Africa's most influential women. Her campaign with the slogan; "Dream up, Speak up and Stand up" is geared towards encouraging African girls get an education.
