Bomb attack kills 3 UN staff members
The Libyan ambassador to the United Nations, Elmahdi Elmajerbi has condemned the attacks which took place in Benghazi. The car bomb blast which occured on Saturday at the Arkan Mall in the Hawari vicinity took the lives of 3 United Nations staff.
In his comments, Elmajerbi stated that the continuous attacks in the vicinity has led to the loss of human and financial resources, and also led to the displacement of over 10,000 citizens in the area as well as damages of infrastructure and other social amenities.
It would be recalled that the car bomb attacks in the area is coming barely two weeks after a Libyan politician Seham Sergiwa was abducted by gunmen after storming her home in Benghazi.
