My appointment represents a change to restore the image of the Nigeria Police says newly appointed acting Inspector General of Police
The newly appointed acting Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, has identified the problem of policing in Nigeria to be the absence of transparent, knowledgeable, accountable and motivational leadership. Adamu disclosed this in Abuja, Nigeria's capital at the official handover and taking over of the reins of leadership from the immediate past Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris. The acting IGP further stated that his appointment represents a change to restore the image of the Nigeria Police.
