Covid-19: Missouri Accuses China of Mishandling the Virus

Threatens to sue China as China dismisses accusations.

The State of Missouri in the United States of America, has threatened to sue the Chinese government over the mishandling of COVID-19 which broke out in their country and has caused many economic and life damages in many parts of the world. In a lawsuit, Missouri Attorney General, Eric Smith, alleged that China did little to stop the spread of the virus to other parts of the world.

Meanwhile, the Chinese Foreign Minister has dismissed the accusations of Missouri, calling them as nothing short of absurdity, lacking any factual or legal basis. The Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Geng Shuang, stated that Chinese response to any epidemic is not under the jurisdiction of the US course and that he has provided the update of the hybrids to the United States since January.
