22 African Centers of Excellence gathers in Burkina Faso for first ever African Higher Education Fair

The African Centers of Excellence, a flagship program supported by the World Bank, has organized the very first edition of African Higher Education Fair hosted by the International Institute of Water and Environment Engineering in Uagadugu, Burkina Faso. The African Centers of Excellence initiative is aimed at providing innovative regional response to make higher education more relevant to Africa’s development. This first edition of the fair witnessed the participation of twenty two African Centers of Excellence drawn from nine West African countries.
