Suicide explosion killing four American service members; a sign to deter US president from withdrawing US troops from Syria as earlier announced
The recent suicide attack in Syria, which claimed the lives of four American service members, is reported to be the worse leading to the largest loss of life in the Pentagon’s war against Islamic State militants in Syria and a sign of the potent threat that remains as the Trump administration begins to withdraw. Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan, said the attack in Syria must have been targeted at deterring President Trump from withdrawing US troops from Syria as he announced a month ago. The Turkish leader who made the comment during a joint news conference when he visited Croatia's president Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, further stated that he is not certain the US president will reverse his decision as he is determined to pull troops out of Syria. The Islamic state terrorist group claimed responsibility for the attack, which locals reported to have killed 16 people.
