Document advanced by Protestant Ministers, approved by the British Parliament
History records that the Scottish confession of faith was marked this week. The document which was advanced by protestant ministers, was approved by the British parliament.
Six ministers drew up the confession, among which are the famous protestant reformation leader, John Knox and was overwhelmingly approved by Scottish parliament.
The Church of England approved the west ministers’ standards over 8 years later but the ratification of the West minister’s standards is no way a repudiation of the previous testimony of the Church.
