The team is calls for prayer for those who have never heard the Gospel
Devastating wildfires in southwestern France have created unexpected opportunities for Christian witness in one of the country’s least-reached regions. Arnaud Schrodi, a church planter near Bordeaux, said the crisis brought communities together, creating opportunities to support neighbours and share the love of Jesus.
He and his family were also forced to evacuate as the fires approached. Schrodi and his team are working to establish a network of churches across the region, where only about 300 churches currently exist among a population of approximately eight million people.
They are also developing initiatives for students and training the next generation of church planters. The team is calling for prayer for those who have never heard the Gospel and for the continued spread of the Good News throughout southwestern France.
