South African Public Enterprises Minister, says South African Airways (SAA) can't Receive continuous bailouts.

The South African Public Enterprises Minister, Pravin Gordhan, has said South Airways (SAA) cannot continue to receive bailouts. He said this while responding to Finance Minister Tito Mboweni’s authorization of another multi-billion rand package for the cash-strapped airline. The national carrier is around R14-billion in debt and the Finance Minister has called for the debt stricken airline to be closed down and then approach its turn around maintenance strategy with the greatest sense of urgency.
