More Troubles for Malusi Gigaba

The Democratic Alliance party (DA) heads to Court to challenge Dlamini and Gigaba's Reappointment into President Ramaphosa's cabinet

Democratic Alliance’s (DA) Mmusi Maimane is heading to court to challenge the reappointment of Malusi Gibaba and Bathabile Dlamini by President Cyril Ramaphosa The party is dragging the respondents to court seeking an order declaring their re-appointments to be unlawful, unconstitutional, and invalid. The North Gauteng High Court will open in March 2019, for the hearing of the matter. Dlamini has been heavily criticized for her handling of the social grants payment saga. On the other hand, the Public Protector, recently discovered that the Home Affairs Minister; Gigaba, lied under oath in court relating to a case involving the Oppenheimer family.
