Opposition candidate Felix Tshisekedi emerges winner of Democratic Republic of Congo's presidential election
Finally the DRC is set to witness the hand over of power by long sitting president Joseph Kabila after 18 years in power. Felix Tshisekedi an opposition leader is about to take over power and leadership of the DRC after being announced provisional winner of the just concluded historic presidential election in DRC. The newly elected president, Tshisekedi, paid his respect to out going president Joseph Kabila describing him as a partner in democratic change.
