Pastor Chris Celebrates Birthday with Royal Thanksgiving Service, Joined by Distinguished Guests and Attendees

A time to thank God for the impactful life and ministry of Pastor Chris.

The glam, splendor, and heavenly grandeur witnessed at the Royal Thanksgiving Service for Loveworld President, Reverend Chris Oyakhilome, DSc., DD, on the occasion of his birthday, have become the talk of the town. The special service, held on Thursday, December 7th, at the revamped, prestigious Loveworld Convocation Arena in Lagos, Nigeria, saw the presence of special dignitaries, Pastors, and members of Christ Embassy, as well as friends, family, and guests from around the world.

Among the distinguished guests attending this auspicious event were the former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, the former President of Liberia, Madam Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, the incumbent Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sonwo-olu, Deputy Governor of Edo State, Phillip Shaibu, Apostle Johnson Suleman, founder and Pastor of Omega Fire Ministry, and Prophet Uebert Angel of Spirit Embassy.

The Loveworld Convocation Arena, which in past years hosted Pastor Chris and other globally acclaimed ministers of the Gospel such as Pastor Benny Hinn, Dr. John Avanzini, and the late Dr. Morris Cerullo, underwent a complete reconstruction and beautification. The transformed LCA can only be described as a glimpse of the heavenly throne room on earth.

The Royal Thanksgiving Service was filled with lavish praise and thanksgiving to God for Pastor Chris's life, whose ministry has transformed countless lives and nations worldwide. The exceptional Loveworld Singers led glorious songs of praise and worship, while senior Pastors in the Loveworld nation read scripture, and a special sermon was delivered by Reverend Ray Okocha, a member of the Loveworld CEC and Director of Church Consolidation Missions.

During his goodwill message at the service, Governor Babajide Sonwo-olu of Lagos State commended Pastor Chris for his selfless and immeasurable contributions to humanity globally, especially in Lagos State. He affectionately referred to the man of God as "our father" and urged everyone to continually pray for him and his family.

In response, Pastor Chris expressed profound gratitude to God for His ever-increasing grace on his life and for granting him the privilege of being a blessing to many around the world. He warmly thanked everyone who traveled from different parts of the world to celebrate with him and declared God's favor and blessings upon their lives.
