"This month, God’s looking for someone to bless through you. You’re going to step into that role of looking for somebody to bless"—Pastor Chris Oyakhilome.
Shouts of joy welcomed the declaration of April as ‘the Month of Favours’ by the man of God, Reverend (Dr.) Chris Oyakhilome DSc., DSc., DD at the April Global Communion Service which was held on Sunday, April 6th. "The Lord is going to embarrass you with blessings and so much favours," Pastor Chris heralded as he ministered in the fullness of the Spirit at the global service.
Drawing a biblical parallel from 2 Samuel 9:1-11, Pastor Chris taught on how David sought for a descendant of Saul to lavishly bless with kindness for the sake of Jonathan and the covenant they made. “This month, God is looking for someone to bless; He wants to show His ultimate kindness,” the man of God remarked as he taught.
He referenced how David suddenly made Jonathan’s crippled son, Mephibosheth rich and caused him to dine at the King’s table; teaching that in a similar manner, God is going to single out His people around the world and lavish his limitless kindness and favours on them throughout this month and beyond.
In a further quick charge, the man of God admonished the global congregation to raise their vision and not remain recipients of favours only but dispensers equally. In his words, “God is looking for someone to bless. He wants to bless someone with kindness. You are going to step into that role of looking for somebody to bless. God is looking for somebody to bless through you”, he posited.
With utter gratitude in the hearts of the saints, the service plunged into a session of praise, thanking the Lord for His timely word, which has positioned the global saints for a lasting month of testimonies galore.
Congratulations to all LoveWorld citizens and welcome to April, 'the Month of Favours’.
