Staying overnight in someone else’s home now seen as a crime.
The United Kingdom has developed new laws which has coincided with the COVID-19 pandemic. The new laws prohibit sleeping over in someone’s residence as well as gatherings of more than six people in public places. The law also empowers the police to arrest people who violate the laws and fine them if they refuse to cooperate. Although the police are not authorized to forcibly remove people from a property if they are found guilty of breaking the law, but they can demand eviction from such properties.
