Britain may Delay Departure from the EU

Likely delay of Brexit expected if parliament rejects Prime Minister May's deal - Hammond

There is the likeliness that Britain's departure from the European Union (EU) will be delayed. This is consequent on outcome of parliament's vote on government's proposed Brexit deal slated for next week. Chancellor Philip Hammond asserted; saying that the focus is on the meaningful vote that will take place next Tuesday. He urged his colleagues to properly think and consider the consequences of not agreeing to the deal as this is the last chance to be confident that UK can get through with the deal and leave the EU on schedule.
