The number of people killed as a result of domestic violence in the United Kingdom is at its highest level for five years. The year 2018, recorded the death of 173 people, killed in domestic violence related homicide. According to reports from 43 police stations in the United Kingdom, Criminologists have described them as invisible victims of knife crimes. Meanwhile Prime Minister Boris Johnson has assured citizens of the government’s commitment to tackling domestic abuse in the country.
