The US Secretary of States, Mike Pompey has stated that the administration of President Donald Trump will show resilience in the fight against terrorism, he stated that the country will not retreat until the fight against terrorism is over. In his speech titled A Force for Good, America’s reinvigorated role of the Middle East, Secretary of States Mike Pompey have done a scaling rebuke of the Obama administration’s Middle East policies as he denounced the former President for misguided and wishful thinking that diminished America’s role in the region. Pompey blamed Obama for being naïve and timid when confronted with challenges and he laid the blame on the speech he gave in Cairo in 2009. Pompey stated that the results of Obama’s judgement have been dire.
