Funeral Ceremony Attended by Former Colleagues and Football Stars
Gordon Banks has received his farewell songs from fans and former colleagues of the football federation as he was finally laid to rest at stoke Minster. The funeral ceremony was attended by team mates from England 1966 World Cup win and members of former clubs stoke City and Leicester, who came to pay their final respect to te legend who passed on at the age of 81. The former goalkeeper was best known for his one handed save against Pele bullet header in a group stage game against Brazil at the 1970 world Cup.
