South Africa’s Side Wins Coach of the Year and Goal of the Year in Women Category
The South African side of the Women’s football team, Bayana Bayana made their country proud in winning three awards in the just concluded CAF Awards 2019 in Dakar, Senegal. Bayana Bayana 22 years old, Thembi Kgatlana emerged the Women’s Player of the Year and Goal of the Year for her stunning winner against Nigeria in their one goal win during the opening Group stage match at the Africa’s Women Cup of Nations. Kgatlana beat of her challenger, Francesca Odegha of Nigeria to win the prestigious player of the year award.
