Christ Embassy Fire Incident, Pastor Chris Speaks

We will build a bigger and better one — Pastor Chris Oyakhilome.

On Sunday, June 24th, 2024, Christ Embassy Church building (the Loveworld Convocation Arena) in Lagos, Nigeria was gutted by fire.

Addressing the incident, Loveworld President, Rev. Chris Oyakhilome DSc., DSc., DD, charged God's people not to be moved as the incident was not an accident but an opportunity for bigger and better things.

In his words, "when something like this happens, don't be moved one bit. Instead of debating the cause, move beyond it. We are not like this world. We don't reason like this world. So, when something bad like this happens, you praise and thank him as you would have done if it didn't happen. Thank him all the same because you understand how He thinks.
