"President Ramaphosa administration to look into and work on securing more Investment deals for South Africa"
President Cyril Ramaphosa's administration has planned to look into and work on securing more investment deals, based on the outcome of the South Africa Investment Conference at the Sandton Convention Centre last week.
Speaking at the conference, Ramaphosa announced a R290 billion in investments and R400 billion in pledges.
Twenty-one companies invested a total of R290 billion as part of Ramaphosa's drive to collect over a trillion rand. Ramaphosa’s investment envoys in addition to the R400 billion in pledges negotiate this.
According to the President, more deals are being negotiated and his team will work on securing those deals.
Other investors met with ministers in the different sectors of the South African economy and were reassured of the country's economy.
