Hitherto exported leather now used for local production of foot wears in the country.
East African country, Ethiopia which long exported it's leather abroad, has started processing it's leather locally for the production of foot wears in recent times.
Report says that high patronage is being experienced as more local consumers now buy the low cost, high quality foot wears produced in the country. This development is fast attracting the attention of foreign producers.
