On Friday, April 12th, and Saturday, April 13th, 2024, citizens of Loveworld in Lagos and its environs bore witness to a historic event – the inaugural 'Cheaper with Espees' Food Fair. A special food fair creating an opportunity for people to purchase basic food necessities at huge discounts using the Espees digital currency. 

The first of its kind Food Fair was a direct response to combat food scarcity and rising inflation in the cost of basic food items ensuring that the saints are not victims of the systems of the world.

The atmosphere at the 2-Day 'Cheaper with Espees' Food Fair surpassed all expectations, delighting shoppers who thronged the venue. From fresh grains to succulent fruits and vegetables, from livestock to pantry staples, a plethora of food items were on offer including rice, beans, yam, pasta, tomatoes, pepper, frozen chicken, grapes, eggs beverages and more – all at discounts of up to 50%. As the fair climaxed on the second day further reduction in prices of commodities was witnessed. Payments for purchased food items with Espees proved seamless and convenient, further enhancing the shopping experience.
