First Helicopter service launched by Uber
American multinational transportation network company, Uber has launched it's first helicopter service. The service was launched in Manhattan where it was ferrying passengers to the JFK airport. The company highlighted that customers could order the helicopter on their app, and with a token of $200 - $250, customers can take a one-way transportation from their homes to the heliport. The company would also be taking the Heli Flite charter for the eight-minute ride to the airport. The services are expected to be rolled out across the whole United States though exclusive to just a certain class of customers.
