The President reassures Americans of his commitment to defend America.
President of the United States, Donald Trump has reassured Americans of his commitment to defend and uphold the integrity of the country which he calls his highest and greatest duty as the President of the United States of America. Speaking during his visit to the historic Church which was damaged by fire amid protests, the Trump cited that his administration is fully committed to bringing justice to bear over the death of George Floyd. It would be recalled that George Floyd who is a black American, died in Minneapolis after a police officer knelt on his neck for about nine minutes ignoring George's plea for his life shouting “I Can’t Breathe”. However, in efforts to curb the emerging violence and looting in the country, the President ordered the Governors to deploy national guards to dominate the streets in their states.
