Missile launched after announcing talks with the United States
The National Security Council in Seoul, South Korea, has expressed worries and concerns in the recent launch of a submarine missile by North Korea. North Korea is reported to have fired at least one missile off its east coast, possibly from a submarine.
According to the South Korean Military, the launch took place a day after announcing that they would resume talks over nuclear programs with the United States. Meanwhile the government of Japan has staged an immediate protest stating that the missile landed in their economic exclusive zone. This would be the first time a missile launched by North Korea will be landing that close to Japan since November 2017.
