Your Loveworld Special Day 2: Pastor Chris Cautions The Church To Stand Strong As Good Soldiers

Pastor Chris strongly cautioned the Church to always fight the good fight of faith, as good soldiers.

On the second day of 'Your Loveworld Special, Season 12, Phase 4', the Convener, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, was quick to remind the Church that they had a work to do on earth, a constant work that required them to fully occupy with the Master's business, till He returned.

With these facts, he reminded the Church that the world was like the hostile environment the Lord Jesus talked about in His parables, and that Christians were to operate like Sheeps among Wolves, always being conscious of the fact that the children of God are to live as Soldiers in this world, who are not given to living selfish lives like civilians. He strongly cautioned the Church to always fight the good fight of faith, as good soldiers.

Drawing more facts from the points he made on Day 1 of 'Your Loveworld', he charged the Church again to stand firm against unjust laws, like anti-hate speech laws and related laws that were meant to rob man of his liberty to preach the gospel. He took it further on Day 2, when he reiterated the essence of Praying and Fasting for one's nation, just like it was ordered for the Jews in the book of Esther.

With more scriptural references to support why the Church should take these instructions seriously, he announced the setting aside of Friday September 25 to Sunday 27 for 3 days of Global Fasting and Praying, when the Church will need to pray for all the nations of the world, in line with God's will and purpose for this present day and age.

Emphasising the points Jesus Christ made when he gave the parable of the Talents, Pastor Chris made it a clear point of service to God, to be busy about the Master's business, as a good soldier of faith.
