UK Not to Panic as Risk Posed by Coronavirus Remains Low

Risk posed by deadly virus to the British public remains low says British Health Secretary.

The United Kingdom’s Health Secretary Matt Hancock, has said that the risk posed to the British people by the outbreak of the Coronavirus in China remains low. Hancock disclosed this to the public after an emergency response meeting to discuss the virus that has killed 26 people and infected more than 800 in China.

The emergency meeting chaired by Hancock, was attended by Ministers from other Ministries including the Foreign Affairs and Education Ministries.

Meanwhile, the World Health Organization (WHO) has declared the Coronavirus an emergency for China but yet to declare the epidemic to be something of international concern.
