Market Capitalization Drops by 458BN Naira

The Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Capitalization has dropped by 458bn Naira after 19 days of trading, it dropped from 13.391trillion Naira on Aug. 2nd 2018 to 12.938trillion on Aug 24th, it depreciated by 0.45% last week. The NSE All Share Index also increased to 35,426.17, while all other indices finished lower with the exception of the NSE premium, NSE insurance and NSE lotus. NSE industrial goods indices that grows by 3. 15%, 1.10% and 1.96% respectively. However, the alternative security market index which remains constant at 68, 09.96 has declined by 40.71% this quarter by 25.52% this year.
