Locals in Malta find unexpected fish deliveries on ground after waves
Report says the northeastern coast of Malta has been hit with a storm with winds as fast as 100km per hour. The beaches and some of the streets in Xemxija, on Malta's San Pablo bay have been flooded by the high wave. The waves brought unexpected fish deliveries from a fish farm in the bay and locals were seen picking up the pieces of fish from the ground. The European Marine Environment Monitoring Service Copernicus has predicted waves up to 5m high.
