Former Real Madrid Star David Beckham To Receive UEFA President's Award

David Beckham, a former Manchester United and Real Madrid Football star has been nominated to be awarded later this year with the UEFA President's Award in celebration of his professional and personal achievements. Beckham who is a former England captain is to receive the award in Monaco as part of his personal achievements since his retirement from the National team and World Football Governing body. Beckham, who is now 43 in his own remarks said "My career in football allowed me to actively participate in helping to improve the lives of numerous children across the globe in cooperation with UNICEF and it gives me great pleasure that I am able to give something back to society."
