Pastor Chris Declares September as 'the Month of Growth’

I extend this grace to you. Grow non-stop – Pastor Chris at Global Service

Rapturous shouts erupted across the globe as the man of God, Reverend Chris Oyakhilome, DSc., DSc., DD, declared September the Month of Growth at the September Global Communion Service held on Sunday, September 6, 2026.

“You will grow, increase, enlarge, expand, and become greater by the power of the Holy Ghost,” Pastor Chris declared, stirring the global congregation to receive the blessings of God in their spirits.

Expounding on the Word of the month during a special plenary session at the global service, Pastor Chris explained that Christ is Abraham’s seed and the heir of God’s promise. Consequently, because the saints belong to Christ, they are also heirs of the promise, as stated in Galatians 3:29. Drawing from several scriptures he further taught on the concept of growth.

“Auxano in the Greek,” he explained, “means to grow, increase, enlarge, expand, and become greater.”

In a profound biblical parallel, the President of the Loveworld Nation referenced the growth of John the Baptist and Jesus Christ, as recorded in Luke 1:80 and Luke 2:40, respectively, charging the global congregation to grow and wax strong in spirit.

Pastor Chris also recounted a remarkable experience in which the Lord gave him the license to grow perpetually and infinitely. In a deeply impactful moment, he extended this same grace to the global audience.

“The Lord told me to keep growing. I cannot but grow in everything, and I extend this grace to you. Grow non-stop,” he declared, setting the tone for a glorious month of growth and beyond.

Congratulations to all Loveworld citizens, and welcome to September—the Month of Growth!
