The first session of the special "Your LoveWorld" Pastor Chris Live; Pray-A-Thon started on a glorious note on Wednesday 3, July 2019 at 5 pm GMT+1.
This historic event which was transmitted live on all LoveWorld TV stations, and streamed live on several online platforms including the Pastor Chris Live TV, witnessed a global audience of people tune, and log in to participate from all around the world.
The first session of the 3 days prayer program, anchored by Pastor Joy Amenkhienan; Zonal Director, Christ Embassy Port Harcourt Zone 3, Nigeria, also had on set - Pastor Biodun Lawal; Zonal Director, Christ Embassy, Accra Ghana Zone, Pastor Lanre Alabi; Director, Church Growth International (CGI), Pastor Femi Otenigbagbe; Zonal Director, Christ Embassy Lagos Zone 3, and Pastor Moses Olayemi; Christ Embassy Benin Zone 1.
It was a most refreshing time of prayers and enlightenment as the senior pastors on set took turns to share briefly from scriptures, and lead each prayer session. Fervent prayers were offered for the body of Christ (the Church), salvation for lost souls, as well as for ministers of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ everywhere.
Sharing during the session, Pastor Biodun Lawal read from 2 Corinthians 1:9-11, affirming the great joy in heaven for the victories won by God's people through effective, ceaselessly prayers offered to God for these 30 days. He therefore, urged the global audience to rejoice in their prayers, taking cognizance of the changes effected all over the world as they prayed.
The panel also discussed "The Role of Prayer in World Evangelization" highlighting among other important points, the shift in favor of the Church, we experience in the realm of the spirit when we pray. The important role of our ministry's social media platforms in achieving this noble agenda, was also emphasized. Pastor Biodun Lawal, reading from Zechariah 5:1-4 MSG, stated that our ministry platforms, are books flying into houses and homes; changing lives all over the world.
Soul stirring worship, and beautiful song ministrations led by seasoned LoveWorld Worship leaders and the choir on set were also experienced during the broadcast.
