Female U-19 team set to compete at the Asian Champions League
The Iranian female U-19 football team is capped one of the best in the Asian continent and are heading for the women’s champions league in Iran. Managed by American- Iranian Katayoun Khosrowyar, who thinks that the young ladies are beginning a revolution after the leaders of the Iran’s Islamic revolution placed a ban on women football fans from attending football matches. The manager said that she wants make history in the lives of the women in a country like Iran where she would make one of the top-ranking football countries in the world, she said though the country started with 40 players but currently has over 4,000 football players in the nation.
